Festival Update
As we can see the finishing post of this year’s International Film Festival, let’s catch up with what’s been happening.
Attendances have been booming, lots of new guests have been enjoying the films, and we have like the different venues this year. We have also been entertained with live music as well.
Feedback on the films has been great. In fact, CALVARY, John Michael McDonagh’s cruel and comedic drama, got a spontaneous round of applause when shown to it’s appreciative audience.
The Animation Showcase has been very well received. I thought you would like to see the breakdown of entries. We received 120 entries this year from all over the world:
Our two highest scored films during the festival will go ‘head to head’ on Saturday night 7th March to decide the winner.
If you have not been, there are still 2 more films to show – Iceland’s OF HORSES AND MEN, and Italy’s ROME OPEN CITY – come on down, you will be made very welcome.
Tickets are just £4, doors open 7pm. Refreshments are available.
